Christian Education

For children

From September through May, parent volunteers partner with our Youth and Family Coordinator to offer Sunday School each Sunday at 9 a.m. We sing, read, draw, create, act, cook, and rejoice! Themes for the 2026–2027 year include The Disciples; Holy Communion; Advent; Jesus Feeds the 5000; Lent; and The Lord Is My Shepherd.

For younger teens

Lutherans practice the old tradition of in-depth study for young teenagers preparing to be confirmed in their faith. Catechetics (as we call this study) is offered as children come of age.

Older teens and adults wishing to prepare for baptism, join or re-join a church, or simply refresh the basics of the faith can also contact Pastor Wilson for more information on catechetics.

For older teens

Our senior high schoolers gather regularly to read Scripture, discuss faith and life issues, and pray. They serve in worship and volunteer at our monthly community meal and help out with the younger children.

For adults

Pastor Wilson leads Bible study every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. During the fall of 2026 we’ll read through the books of Ruth, Joel, and Colossians.

On Wednesdays we have Bible study at 11 a.m., followed by midday prayer. We’ll cover one chapter of the book of Acts each week starting in September 2026 and continuing till we reach the end!
